EAU CLAIRE
The Foster Gallery of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will exhibit selections from Shark's Inc., a print studio in Lyons, Colo.
The show will open with a reception at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8 in the Foster Gallery of the Haas Fine Arts Center. It will run though Thursday, Oct. 29.
Prominent artists such as Enrique Chagoya, recipient of the 1993 National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and Fred Stonehouse, a Milwaukee native who has had solo exhibitions in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles, will be on display. Twenty-three other nationally-known artists including John Buck, Betty Woodman, Hollis Sigler, Red Grooms, Don Ed Hardy and Elliott Green also will be featured.
Colorado studio owner and master printer Bud Shark will be on campus during the exhibit to give a gallery talk at 10 a.m. Oct. 22 in the Foster Gallery. Shark also will give a workshop to printmaking students that afternoon
