EAU CLAIRE —
A Surplus Property Store will open in October at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, enabling members of the campus and Eau Claire communities to claim or purchase a variety of items.
The Surplus Property Store will be open to members of campus departments from 8:30 a.m. to noon the first and third Friday of each month beginning Oct. 2. Most of the surplus goods will be available for campus use at no charge to the department that claims it.
The store will then be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to noon the fourth Friday of each month starting Oct. 23. Prices will be marked on items that are being offered for sale to the public.
The store will be located in room 2 in the basement of the former Park School building.
