EAU CLAIRE —
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, Sept. 28. All events are free and open to the public.
SUNDAY, OCT. 4:
Faculty Recital 4 p.m., Gantner Concert Hall of Haas Fine Arts Center. Cellist Paul Kosower, professor of music, will perform a four-piece set with guest artist and pianist, Susanne Son. Kosower will play selections from Schubert, Beethoven, Chopin and Granados. Kosower has performed on artist series throughout the United States and parts of Europe. Kosower has appeared as a soloist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and his concerts have been frequently broadcast on Minnesota and Wisconsin Public Radio. His accompanist is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and The Julliard School. Son has appeared in many solo and chamber music performances in New York, including Alice Tully Hall.
