EAU CLAIRE — Faculty from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's art department will display their works in an exhibit Sept. 10-Oct. 1 in the Foster Gallery of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
The two featured artists who will exhibit works from the past year are Li Ying Bao and Mike Weber, assistant professors of art.
Bao has a master of fine arts degree from Iowa State University and teaches graphic design at UW-Eau Claire. She has researched human-computer interface design and applied cognitive psychology and design principles into graphic design.
Weber teaches ceramics and 3-D design. He has a master of fine arts degree from the UW-Madison. He has researched wood fired ceramics and large ceramics sculpture.
An opening reception will be held from 7:30-9 p.m. Sept. 10 in the Foster Gallery. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays and 1-4:30 p.m. weekends.
