EAU CLAIRE — Middle and high school students in the Chippewa Valley area are invited to participate in the Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony this fall and spring.
The symphony provides a chance for young musicians to gain a symphony experience. Ivar Lunde will again conduct the symphony.
Rehearsals will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays Sept. 15-Dec. 8 and Feb. 2-May 11, 1999. Concerts are slated for Dec. 12 and May 15, 1999.
Fees for the year are $70 and registration is due Sept. 7.
The symphony is sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Arts and Sciences Continuing Education/UW-Extension and the Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony Association.
