EAU CLAIRE — Charles Gustafson, outreach program manager in Executive and Professional Programs, will retire July 31 from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Gustafson came to UW-Eau Claire in 1981 as an outreach specialist in UW Extension's Business Outreach program. In 1992, he was promoted to outreach program manager.
While at UW-Eau Claire, Gustafson coordinated a program called the Technical Instructor Institutes. The program trained people from various organizations as instructors, enabling them to then train employees on how to do their jobs.
Gustafson earned a bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 1957. In 1971, he earned a master's degree from the Naval Postgraduate School.
