EAU CLAIRE Sarah Harder, coordinator of Women's Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, will participate in a national women's conference later this month in upstate New York.Forum 98 will bring together many of the nation's eminent women in government, business, education, the media and community organizations to assess the status of women's rights and recommend priorities for the coming decades.
The event slated for July 13-16 will help mark the 150th anniversary of the first Women's Rights Convention, held in 1848 in Seneca Falls, N.Y.
