Summer Institute Offers Classes
to Middle and High School Students

EAU CLAIRE
As part of the 21st Annual Summer Institute, the Arts and Sciences Continuing Education office will offer classes at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to middle and high school students.
Classes include "Creative Writing," which focuses on helping students use their observations and experiences to create prose and poetry, and "Engineering Concepts," which examines the jobs of chemical, civil, electrical and mechanical engineers. "Featuring Physics," a class using unusual lab experiments to help participants learn about force, pressure, motion and energy, also will be taught.
Each class will meet two hours a day, four days a week, from July 7-16.
Tuition is $50 plus a $10 fee for materials.
