EAU CLAIRE - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Summer Theatre program will present three summer productions.
"Cole," a musical review of Cole Porter, will be directed by Merlaine Angwall. Performances are slated for 7:30 p.m. June 12, 13, and 17-20 and at 1:30 p.m. June 14, 18, 20, 21. All performances will be in Kjer Theatre.
The second production will be "Ramona Quimby," directed by Cheryl Starr. The production is an adaptation of the popular children's book written by Beverly Cleary which chronicles the ups and downs of everyday life in the Quimby family. "Ramona Quimby" performances are slated for 7:30 p.m. June 26, 27, 30 and July 1, 2 and 3. Performances at 1:30 p.m. are slated for June 27 and 28 and July 2 and 5.
Summer Theatre's third production will be "Only an Orphan Girl," directed by Keith Lorasch. "Only an Orphan Girl" is an old-fashioned melodrama complete with musical interludes and audience participation. It will be performed at 7:30 p.m. July 10, 11, 14 through 18, and at 1:30 p.m. July 11, 12 and 19. All performances will be in Kjer Theatre.
