EAU CLAIRE -- Forty University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students this spring were initiated into the university's Gold Caps Chapter of Mortar Board for the 1998-99 academic year.

New officers are Elizabeth Neikirk, president, a senior health care administration major from Menomonie; Leah Olson, vice president, a junior social work major from Westby; Kari Ann Trunnell, secretary, a junior communication major from Elk River, Minn.; and Adam Bloemke, treasurer, a senior biology major from Winona, Minn.
Other new members are Maggie Alvarez, a senior biology major from Eau Claire; Erica Barrette, a senior biology major from Greenfield; Scott Baseler, a senior English major from Eau Claire; Jill Beaulieu, a senior physical education major from Brainerd, Minn.; Peggy Blake-Vogt, a senior communicative disorders major from Barron; Sara Bornheimer, a senior English major from Athens; and Elise Brozovich, a senior political science and Spanish major from Chanhassen, Minn.
New members also include Amber Dahlen, a senior music major from Appleton; Michael Eckerman, a junior social studies major from Richfield, Minn.; Samantha Florey, a senior sociology major from Madison; Sarah Frisque, a senior communication major from DePere; Christina Golner, a junior biochemistry/molecular biology major from Waukesha; Ann Hackel, a junior social work major from Appleton; Connie Handel, a senior nursing major from Deerfield; Lavonne Kasuboski, a junior marketing and management major from Ripon; Heidi Kuhlemeier, a senior special education major from Minnetonka, Minn.; Debbie Ledo-Anderl, a senior American Indian Studies and journalism major from Fall Creek; Ryan Moran, a senior biochemistry/molecular biology major from Waukesha; Allison Mulford, a junior communicative disorders major from Rochester, Minn.; and Bruce Neumann, a junior environmental and public health major from Medford.
