Symphonic Choir To
Present Spring Concert

EAU CLAIRE -- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Symphonic Choir, conducted by Stephen Rosolack, and the Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Nobuyoshi Yasuda, will come together in a Spring Concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 10, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
Participating with the ensembles will be soloists Elizabeth Hellman, soprano; Kathryn Proctor Duax, contralto; Daniel Newman, tenor; Robert Knight, baritone; and Barbara Young, organist.
The concert will include a performance of the F.J. Haydn "Mass in D Minor - nicknamed 'The Lord Nelson." Additional music performed will include selections by W.A. Mozart, including two Church Sonatas for organ and orchestra and two motets, one of which is the famous "Ave verum corpus."
Tickets for the concert are $4.75 for the general public; $3.75 for senior citizens, children under 18 and faculty and staff; or $1.25 with a UW-Eau Claire ID. Tickets are available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727.
