Two UW-Eau Claire Student Athletic
Trainers Awarded Scholarships

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire junior Susan Britton, Durand, will receive a $500 Wisconsin Athletic Trainers' Association scholarship at the annual WATA meeting in May.
Britton, a student athletic trainer under head athletic trainer and assistant professor of kinesiology Jeff Oliphant, is the fourth of Oliphant's students to have received this award in the past six years.
A second UW-Eau Claire student, senior Denise Carlson, Washburn, is the recipient of a $2,000 scholarship from the National Athletic Trainers' Association. Carlson will receive the award in June at the NATA convention in Baltimore.
Carlson was a WATA scholarship winner last year.
