Appointed to 42nd Senate Session

EAU CLAIRE -- Thirty-eight University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students were recently appointed to serve on the university's Student Senate.
Elections for the 42nd Senate session were held in late March, with new senators and directors appointed March 31. Their terms will continue through March of 1999.
Mark Cook, a junior social studies major from Maple Grove, Minn., will serve as the Senate's president. LaVonne Kasuboski, a junior marketing and management major from Ripon, will be the vice president.
Other senators and directors are January Boten, a senior communication major from Madison; Jessica Brehm, a senior political science major from Franklin; John Burke, a freshman history major from Algoma; Ryan Burr, a sophomore accounting major from Marshfield; Cory Coulombe, a senior history major from Almena; Jacob Dahlen, a junior business finance major from Burnsville, Minn.; Donald Dudley, a senior political science major from Milwaukee; and Michael Eckerman, a junior social studies major from Richfield, Minn.
Senators and directors also include Jay Englund, a sophomore criminal justice major from Middleton; Jennifer Ferber, a junior business administration major from Burnsville, Minn.; Jenny Fletcher, a junior geography major from Appleton; Laura Franks, a sophomore political science major from Eden Prairie, Minn.; Rachel Gaffron, a freshman history major from Rollingstone, Minn.; James Hanke, a sophomore political science major from Cadott; Toby Jacobson, a senior elementary education major from Bloomer; Eric Kasper, a sophomore political science major from Merrill; Lisa Kraft, a senior biology major from Madison; Kevin Kratz, a junior political science major from Maple Grove, Minn.; Laura Lambert, a junior journalism major from Hillsboro; Li Pao, a junior illustration major from Milwaukee; and Matthew Ludt, a senior economics major from Verona.
