Springfest Slated for|
May 4-8 at UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE -- Springfest, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's annual outdoor celebration of the season, will run Monday through Friday, May 4-8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Central Campus Mall.
The festival is free and open to all.
Live music will be performed each day from noon to 1 p.m. The lineup includes folk-rock group The Amazing Zamboni Brothers (Monday); the Crawlin' Kingsnakes blues band (Tuesday); classic and alternative rock band Joint Session (Wednesday); psychedelic folk-rock-funk artists Ben Shaw and the Embellishment (Thursday); and improvisational jazz band Planet Vinyl (Friday).
Every day from 11:30 a.m. to noon, Springfest will feature the comedic antics and musical virtuosity of performing partners Kevin Gatzlaff and Toby Jacobson. Bratwurst, burgers and other refreshments will be sold on the mall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily.
During Wednesday's show, The Society for Creative Anachronism will present medieval weaponry demonstrations.
In case of rain, events will move into The Cabin, Davies Center. Springfest is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the Student Senate.
