Undergraduate Students Elected to
Nursing Honor Society

EAU CLAIRE -- Twenty-four University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire undergraduate nursing students were elected to membership in Sigma Theta International Honor Society of Nursing.
The students are Kristin Engelbrecht, Neenah; Gerry Nina Brobst, Chetek; Sara Van Domelen, DePere; Johanna Berman, Peshtigo; Carolyn Carson, Madison; Danika Good, Rochester, Minn.; Erica Weber, Onalaska; Susan Albrecht, Antigo; Matthew Grimes, Portales, N.M.; Tricia Genskow, Appleton; Misty Brunner, Medford; and Shelby Oelkers, Arcadia.
Students also include Scott Werner, Menomonie; Melinda Miller, Hastings, Minn.; Amy Berger, Crystal, Minn.; Lynette Ziegler, Marshfield; Mei Chang, Madison; Wendy Fullerton, Shawano; Bernadette Beining, Stratford; Randall Myszka, Edgar; Kristin Vandenberg, Little Chute; Sally Tauscher, Gillett; Meggin Schaus, Oconomowoc; and Jessica Strayer, Portage.
Sigma Theta Tau International is an organization of nurse leaders, scholars and researchers. The honor society, founded at Indiana University in 1922, currently has 356 chapters at more than 400 colleges and universities in Australia, Canada, South Korea, Taiwan and the United States. The society has more than 230,000 members who live in 73 countries.
Membership in the society is awarded to bachelor's, master's and doctoral nursing candidates who achieve high scholastic averages, and to graduates of nursing programs who have made outstanding contributions to nursing.
