Women's Concert Chorale
To Perform April 26

EAU CLAIRE -- The Women's Concert Chorale will present a concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 26, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Fine Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The chorale is under the direction of Stephen Rosolack.
The chorale will begin the concert with "Life Thine Eyes (Elijah)" by Felix Mendelssohn, "Song from Fingal Op., 17 No. 4" by Johannes Brahms, "I Never Saw Another Butterfly" by Joel M. Hardyk, "Sacred Songs for the Night" by Houston Bright and "We Sing to Spring" by Claude Debussy.
After a short intermission, the program will continue with "Aufschwung (Upward) Op. 12, No. 2" by Robert Schumann, featuring Ondra Williams on piano. They also will perform "Spring Returns" by Luca Marenzio, "Where E'er You Walk" by G.F. Handel, "O Waly Waly" as arranged by John C. Phillips and "Hello Girls" as arranged by Lloyd Pfautsch.
"Three Lovesong Waltzes" by Johannes Brahms will feature Ondra Williams and Sara Paar on piano.
The chorale will close the concert with "An den Vetter (To a Cousin) by Franz Joseph Haydn.
Tickets for the concert are $4.75 for the general public; $3.75 for senior citizens, children under 18 and faculty and staff; or $1.25 with a UW-Eau Claire ID. Tickets are available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727.
