EAU CLAIRE -- Ryan Coogan is the recipient of the Karl Andresen Scholarship for the 1997-98 academic year at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Coogan, a senior political science major from Oconomowoc, will receive $1,400.
The scholarship was created by Andresen's former students to recognize a graduating senior who had demonstrated academic excellence and the promise of future academic achievements.
