Flint Knapping Workshop Offered

EAU CLAIRE -- The Sociology/Anthropology Student Organization will sponsor a flint knapping demonstration from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, in room 306 of Schneider Hall at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Bob Keiper, Fountain City, will lead the demonstration of flint knapping, or the art of tool making. He is an experienced flint knapper who demonstrates techniques as a hobby. The demonstration will begin with a stone tool creation, followed by a question and answer session. Participants can try flint knapping following Keiper's demonstration.
The event is free and open to the public.
