EAU CLAIRE -- A workshop examining vocal health issues for professional voice users will be held Friday, April 3, at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Eau Claire.
Objectives of the all-day workshop, "Care of the Professional and Performing Voice," include learning how to maintain optimal vocal health, providing information regarding the diagnosis and treatment of vocal disorders, facilitating private vocal consultations and fostering dialogue and cooperation among those concerned with the care of the professional voice.
The event, sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Human Sciences and Services Outreach, is designed for broadcasters, clergy, coaches, music therapists, singing teachers, vocal performers and anyone interested in vocal health.
