UW-Eau Claire to Sponsor Summer
Cross Country Running

EAU CLAIRE -- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will sponsor the Girl's Cross Country Running Camp for girls in seventh to 12th grades.
The camp will run Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26, at UW-Eau Claire.
The camp includes classroom sessions on training theory, physiology, nutrition, women's issues, injury prevention and treatment, and sport psychology. UW-Eau Claire's Women's Cross Country team members will be on staff to assist campers in activities.
This is the first year UW-Eau Claire will offer the camp. Campers have the option of staying in the residence halls or commuting to the campus.
Cost for the camp, which includes all meals, is $225 for those who stay in the residence halls and $185 for commuters. There are team discounts for five or more athletes from the team. Each participant will receive a T-shirt.
Participants must register by June 1.
