Blue Max to Perform
At UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE -- Blue Max, the Eau Claire power-blues trio led by guitarist Howard Luedtke, will present three free shows at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire April 2-4.
The concerts will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in The Cabin, Davies Center. Refreshments will be sold.
Blue Max has been voted Best Blues Band for seven consecutive years in the La Crosse Tribune's weekly magazine LaX. The band has opened shows for such big-name blues artists as Jimmy Johnson, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Lonnie Brooks, Herbert Sumlin, Jeff Healey, Kenny Neal, Eddy Shaw, and Li'l Ed and the Blues Imperials.
Blue Max has three recordings on the False Dog label -- "Molded by the Blues" (1992), "Live in Gleisdorf, Austria" (1995), and "Face to Face with the Blues" (1996).
Celebrating its 30th season this year, The Cabin program is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
