Students perform in
'The Yellow Boat'

EAU CLAIRE -- Several University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students will perform in the upcoming play "The Yellow Boat."
School performances are slated for 9 and 11 a.m. March 31, April 2, 7, 9, 14 and 16. Public performances will be at 7:30 p.m. April 3, 4, 17 and 18. Matinee shows will be performed at 1:30 p.m. April 4 and 17.
The cast includes two seniors, Rebecca Ernst from Eden Prairie, Minn. and Mark Bauch from Augusta.
Sophomores in the cast are Seth Johnson from New Richmond, Ben Richgruber from Sparta, Shawn Stelton from St. Croix Falls, Lieneke Arndt from Waukesha, Tom Gross from Oconomowoc, and Megan McGee from Oshkosh.
Molly Berg from Coon Rapids, Minn. and Anne Fowler from St. Croix Falls are freshmen.
"The Yellow Boat" is under the direction of Dr. Cheryl Starr and assistant direction of Joe Nicikowski, a sophomore from Racine.
William F. Mellien, professor of music and theatre arts, is the scenic and lighting designer and makeup designer for the show. Ann Behrens is the costume designer.
Art Gulig, department of music and theatre arts, is the sound designer.
Tickets for the play are $4 for the general public or $3 for senior citizens, youths, and students, faculty and staff with a university ID. Tickets are available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727.
