EAU CLAIRE -- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, March 9. All events are free and open to the public.
TUESDAY, MARCH 10:
* Karen Decker, a senior from Afton, Minn., will present a student cello recital at 5 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of the Fine Arts Center. Decker will perform "Concerto in D Major, Op. 101" by Joseph Haydn, "Sicilienne, Op. 78" by Gabriel Faure and "Sonata No. 1 in E Minor, Op. 38" by Johannes Brahms. Matthew Bear will accompany her on piano.
THURSDAY, MARCH 12:
* A Flute Studio Recital will be presented at 5 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of the Fine Arts Center.
