Summer Aquatics & Gymnastics
School Open for Children

EAU CLAIRE -- The 31st annual Summer Gymnastics & Aquatics School for Children will be held from 8:50-11 a.m. June 16-July 2 in the McPhee Physical Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Mary Mero, Bob Scott and Julie Scott, faculty members in UW-Eau Claire's department of kinesiology, will be master instructors. To ensure maximum individual attention for each child, instructors will be assisted by UW-Eau Claire students majoring in kinesiology-physical education, making the instructor-student ratio is at least one to six.
Groups will have a maximum of 40 students and will be arranged by the age and ability of each child. Option activity periods will include a choice of dance, track and field, or soccer.
The program is open to children who are between the ages of five and 12 as of June 15.
The cost of the program is $120, with a non-refundable minimum deposit of $35 to guarantee participation. If a deposit is sent, the balance is due on the first day of school.
Each participant must fill out a registration form available through the kinesiology department. Registration is one a first-come, first-served basis.
Children should arrive with appropriate gym clothing and swim suits, ready to participate.
