Meeting Offered for Students

EAU CLAIRE -- CONNECTIONS, a network among University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students and alumni, will hold an information meeting Monday, Feb. 16.
The session will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Alumni Room of Davies Center, with a repeat session at 5 p.m. Meetings are also slated for noon and 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, in the Alumni Room of Davies Center.
More than 400 alumni have volunteered to assist students through CONNECTIONS. Students can obtain the names of alumni and contact them to discuss job responsibilities, employment climate in the alumni's city or region, arrange job shadowing and provide job leads and internships.
Any student who is enrolled at the university and is interested in learning more about a specific career, is unsure of what career path to follow or would like advice from a professional is eligible to participate in CONNECTIONS.

The informational meeting, sponsored by Career Services and Alumni Relations, is free and open to UW-Eau Claire students.
