Trombone/Euphonium Recital by M. Dee Stewart |

EAU CLAIRE -- M. Dee Stewart will present a guest trombone/euphonium recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, in the Phillips Recital Hall of the Fine Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Stewart is a former member of the Philadelphia Orchestra and presently teaches in the School of Music at Indiana University. Composers works to be presented include Appert, Brahms, Hydas, Perschetti, Tessarini and White.
The performance is open to the public. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.
A master class, free and open to the public, will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, in the Phillips Recital Hall.
A clinic, also free and open to the public, will be held at 2 p.m. March 7 at Memorial High School in Eau Claire. Participants will have hands-on experience with developing their trombone and euphonium techniques through the clinic and class led by Stewart.
All events are sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire department of music and theatre arts, the College of Arts and Sciences Continuing Education/UW-Extension, Morgan Music Company, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and the Music Educators National Conference.
