Workshop to Focus On
Needs of Gifted Students |

EAU CLAIRE -- A workshop focusing on the needs of gifted students in the classroom and the home will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire June 17-18.
The workshop, titled "Celebrating Gifted Education X," will be sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire office of Education Outreach and will feature a number of specialized themes on gifted students including looking into personality traits, parenting techniques and social needs of the gifted.
Licensed psychologist Dr. Linda Silverman will host the workshop along with Dr. Ann Klein, associate professor of curriculum and instruction at UW-Eau Claire, who will lead the discussions.
Teachers, parents and anyone else who is interested in learning more about gifted and talented children are encouraged to attend.
The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. both days. The workshop fee is $110. One-three graduate credit is offered. Credit fees are in addition to the workshop fee.
