UW Eau-Claire Students
to Showcase Graphic Designs

EAU CLAIRE -- The "Statewide Juried Exhibition of Student Graphic Design," an art show traveling to four University of Wisconsin System campuses, will feature works by six UW-Eau Claire senior art majors.
An entry by Chris Atterberry, Bloomington, Minn., will be in the letterhead/logo category. His entry was titled "Ecosystems." An entry by Kara Lichtenberg, Appleton, will be in the letterheads/logos category. Her work was titled "Mineworks Mining Co." Beryl Ouimette, Chippewa Falls, will include her work titled "Artswest 19" in the posters category.
Robert Bauer, Durand, Heather Jung, Marinette, and Scott Waldal, Hudson, have an entry in the posters category. Their exhibit is titled "Coda."
The exhibit will be displayed from Nov. 5-25 in the Foster Gallery of the Fine Arts Center at UW-Eau Claire. The show also will be exhibited at UW-Stevens Point, UW-Parkside and UW-Whitewater.
The UW-Eau Claire displays are four of the 48 student entries which were chosen for the exhibit. The competition received 130 entries from nine schools.
The art show was developed to showcase the best work of students in graphic design from colleges and universities in Wisconsin. The show was juried by Stan Reed from the Madison firm of Reed Sendecke Inc.
