EAU CLAIRE -- Cathy Braaten will perform three free concerts at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire March 5-7.

Braaten has won seven awards in the Nashville Music City Songwriters Festival -- six as a composer and one as a performer. Now working on a follow-up to her two successful CDs -- "Fragile Man" (1989) and "Ride the Fader" (1994) -- she has been compared to Mary Chapin Carpenter, Annie Lennox and Ann Wilson.
