Microcomputer and Technology Fair
Slated For Feb. 26-27

EAU CLAIRE -- The 16th annual Microcomputer and Technology Fair will be held Feb. 26-27 at McDonnel Central High School in Chippewa Falls.
The fair, sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Education Outreach office and the Northwest Computer Support Center, will feature a culmination of the latest in educational technology.
The event, which will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, will feature dozens of educational sessions, a technology exploration area and exhibits and demonstrations by both students and vendors.
Both days will feature demonstration, discussion, roundtable, and limited hands-on sessions highlighting the latest in technology from, among many other things, useful software, distance learning and the Internet.
The fair also will feature guest speaker Elaine Anderson, director of strategic initiatives at Apple Computers Inc., who will discuss how to best use and prepare for new technology in the classroom.
Registration fees for each day is $45 per participant for NCSC member schools or $90 for other participants. To attend both days, the cost is $75 per participant for NCSC member schools or $150 for other participants.
