EAU CLAIRE -- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, Feb. 23. All events are free and open to the public.
MONDAY, FEB. 23:
* Foster Beyers, a senior from Madison, and Sarah Rohow, a senior from New Richmond, will present a joint senior recital at 5 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of the Fine Arts Center. Beyers will perform trumpet pieces by G.F. Handel, Sergei Rachmaninoff, J.S. Bach and Franz Schubert. Rohow will perform percussion pieces by Paul Creston on marimba, Vic Furth on timpani, and Josef Haydn on marimba and xylophone. Judy Liss will accompany Beyers on piano. Ann Gilbertson will accompany Rohow on piano and Brian Spurgeon, Julie Slater and Nate Fredenburg will assist her on marimba.
