EAU CLAIRE -- The Mixed Blood Theatre Co. will present its touring production of "Jackie Robinson" Tuesday, Feb. 3. The free performance will begin at 7 p.m. in Davies Theatre.
The production is a memorable one-man show on the life of the man who broke baseball's color bar. More than a collection of baseball anecdotes, "Jackie Robinson" is the story of a man whose influence and leadership reached far beyond the stadium.
"Jackie Robinson" is produced by The Mixed Blood Theatre Co. of Minneapolis. Founded in 1976, Mixed Blood is a multi-racial non-profit professional theater.
The performance will be sponsored by the Black Students Association, American Ethnic Coordinating Office, and Advocates for Multicultural Education.
