Odyssey of the Mind
To Award $500 Scholarship

EAU CLAIRE -- The West Central Wisconsin Odyssey of the Mind Regional will award a $500 higher education scholarship at the West Central Regional Odyssey of the Mind tournament at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire March 14.
The scholarship will be awarded to a student who is a graduating senior from a high school in the West Central Region, has participated in Odyssey of the Mind in the past or this year, and has successfully completed the application process. Application forms are due Feb. 1.
The Odyssey of the Mind school program promotes divergent thinking and develops creative problem-solving skills in students from kindergarten through college. The West Central Wisconsin tournament is cosponsored by the UW-Eau Claire College of Arts and Sciences Continuing Education/University of Wisconsin-Extension.
Cities included in the West Central Region include Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Altoona, Mondovi, Elk Mound, Cadott, Spring Valley, Hudson, Prescott, River Falls, Granton, Medford, Blair, Taylor, West Salem, Chetek, Boyceville, Durand and Colfax.
