After School Language Program

EAU CLAIRE -- Children in grades one through five will have an opportunity to participate in the After School Language Program sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's College of Arts and Sciences Continuing Education office.
Classes are designed to provide students with the opportunity to study basic Spanish. Students will develop a select vocabulary in the language and will be introduced to the geography, culture and traditions of areas where Spanish is spoken.
Classes meet once a week after school beginning Feb. 2 and continue through April 1 at St. James and St. Olaf's elementary schools. The classes are taught by UW-Eau Claire foreign language students or certified teachers.
Classes are open to the public and cost $30 with a $5 materials fee. Pre-registration is required. The deadline to register is Jan. 26.
