Search and Seizure Presentation Hosted
by Drake Law School Graduate

EAU CLAIRE -- Attorney Michael Korpela will host a presentation at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on the search and seizure law.
His presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, in Schofield Auditorium.
Organizers state the purpose of the event is to increase the public's awareness of their civil rights. Korpela will discuss the search and seizure law, as well as when and how a person can deny a police search. The information is intended to help people understand their civil rights.
Korpela is a graduate of Drake Law School who has litigated civil rights cases in federal court. He has been in private practice for 15 years, and is licensed in Michigan and Wisconsin.
The presentation is sponsored by the Campus Hemp Information and Legalization Initiative.
