EAU CLAIRE -- A bachelor of fine arts senior candidate exhibit will be on display Dec. 6-14 in the Foster Gallery of the Fine Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The exhibit will be titled "CODA," which means the end of the piece or final.
An opening reception is slated for 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, in the Foster Gallery.
Senior graphic design major Heather Jung, Marinette, will display works featuring design, serigraphy and illustration pieces.
Nathan Fehlauer, an illustration major from Tomah, will display paintings and drawings. His art is done in a narrative style influenced by everything from music to cinematography.
Also part of the "CODA" exhibit will be Jenna Ruder, a painting major from Green Bay. Her paintings and prints showcase images from her life.
Graphic design major Scott Waldal, Hudson, will have paintings, posters, jewelry and graphic designs in the exhibit.
"I'm interested in products, especially automobiles. My artwork reflects my interests in the possession of these objects," Waldal said.
Illustration major Asagi Iwabuchi from Japan will exhibit children's books and illustrations, and graphic designs.
"When I create illustrations, I always try to include a lot of stories with them. I want the viewer to read the illustrations and know what they are telling," Iwabuchi said.
Robert J. Bauer, a graphic design major from Durand, will display graphic design and photography works.
Foster gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays and 1-4:30 p.m. weekends.
