EAU CLAIRE -- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Singing Statesmen will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at The Grand Theater, 415 Fourth Street, Wausau, for the UW-Eau Claire Alumni Concert.
The Singing Statesmen is one of seven choral ensembles on the UW-Eau Claire campus and is one of the premier university male choruses in the United States. The Statesmen, conducted by Dr. Gary Schwartzhoff, have released four recordings during its 30-year history and have performed at a variety of locations in the United States and abroad.
The Alumni Concert is co-sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire Alumni Association and the GTE corporation, and is open to all alumni and the public.
The concert is free but a ticket is required for admittance. Tickets are available at The Grand Theater box office and at the door. Donations to the Singing Statesmen will be accepted during the program intermission.
