EAU CLAIRE -- Six University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students who have studied abroad were awarded the Leonard and Dorellen Haas Scholarship from the Center for International Education.
Senior Jodi Lehnherr, a French major who studied in Toulon, France, during the spring semester of 1997, was awarded $400. Lehnherr is from Marshfield.
Matthew Nie, a senior communications major from De Forest who studied in Edinburgh, Scotland, during the 1996-97 academic year, was awarded $400.
Junior Bonnie Sikora, a geography major, studied in Sonderborg, Denmark, during the fall semester of 1996. Sikora, Colfax, was awarded $400.
Kristin Gorczynski, a junior French education major from Brookfield, studied in Toulon, France, during the spring semester of 1997. She received a $400 award.
Junior Heather Tomter, a psychology major from Cumberland, studied at Harlaxton Manor, Grantham, England, during the spring semester of 1997. She was awarded $200.
Jason Yarrington, a junior political science major from Eau Claire who studied in Edinburgh, Scotland, during the fall semester of 1996, was awarded $200.
