EAU CLAIRE -- Matthew Kendziera, Boscobel, and Sarah Sornson, McFarland, were selected as 1997 Homecoming king and queen at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Kendziera is a senior music education major who represented the Singing Statesmen. He is the son of Christine and Ronald Kendziera.
Sornson is a sophomore communication major who represented Women's Concert Chorale. She is the daughter of Mary Helmke and Will Sornson.
Homecoming representatives are nominated by their sponsoring organizations based on leadership and human relations skills. The student body elects the king and queen.

NORRIDGE, ILL.: Jennifer Brisbane is a sophomore business finance major who represented Sigma Sigma Sigma. Brisbane is the daughter of Debbie and Paul Brisbane.
RIVER FALLS: Jennifer Peters is a senior social work major who represented Oak Ridge Hall. Peters is the daughter of Nancy and David Peters.
GOODHUE, MINN.: Gretel Stern is a junior communication major who represented Sutherland Hall. Stern is the daughter of Deborah and Edward Stern.
GERMANTOWN: Stephanie Johnson is a senior chemistry major with a business emphasis who represented Alpha Xi Delta. Johnson is the daughter of Sharon and Kerwin Johnson. Also from Germantown is Jerod Kruszka, a junior management information systems major. Kruszka represented Governors Hall and is the son of Donna and Dan Kruszka.
MAPLE GROVE, MINN.: Leif Briel is a freshman journalism major who represented Towers Hall. Briel is the son of Katy and Steven Briel.
EAU CLAIRE: Matt Chilson is a senior accounting and finance major who represented Alpha Phi Omega. Chilson is the son of Suzanne and Bernerd Chilson. Also of Eau Claire is Tiffany Corrigan, a junior marketing major who represented Delta Zeta. Corrigan is the daughter of Cathy and Thomas Corrigan.
WAUSAU: Andrew Johnson is a senior biology major who represented Bridgman Hall. Johnson is the son of Susan and Charles Johnson.
ELK RIVER: Troy Ellefson is a junior management major who represented Beta Upsilon Sigma. Ellefson is the son of Kathy and Daniel Ellefson.
ELLSWORTH: Amanda Foley is a junior English major who represented the Combined Education Organization. Foley is the daughter of Jan and Patrick Foley.
BERLIN: Katherine Kalupa is a junior art major who represented Katherine Thomas Hall Council. Kalupa is the daughter of Fran and Bud Kalupa.
WHITE BEAR LAKE, MINN.: Mandy Gavin is a junior marketing major who represented the American Marketing Association. Gavin is the daughter of Vicki and Marty Gavin.
