EAU CLAIRE -- Anyone interested in reducing stress, unleashing creativity, building self-esteem, increasing productivity and living a healthier lifestyle can attend a lecture titled "The Power of Positive Insanity."
The College of Arts and Sciences Continuing Education/UW-Extension will sponsor the lecture delivered by nationally-known speaker Mark Therrien at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, in the Riverside Theatre in the Fine Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Therrien, a social worker for 25 years, will illustrate how important a lighthearted attitude is for successful living and relationships. He will explain how laughter can reduce stress and help people keep a perspective on life in a crazy world.
The lecture is open to the public. Tickets may be obtained at the door or by calling the UW-Eau Claire Service Center at (715) 836-3727. The cost is $3.
