• OcTUBAfest 1997, 7:30 p.m. in Gantner Concert Hall, Fine Arts Center

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8

• Faculty recital: Tim Lane, flute, 7:30 p.m. in Gantner Concert Hall, Fine Arts Center.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9

• Faculty recital: Robert Knight, baritone, 7:30 p.m., Gantner Concert Hall, Fine Arts Center.

• Northwest Education Association Convention, Memorial High School.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10

• Northwest Education Association Convention, Memorial High School.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12

• Concert: Wind Ensemble directed by Todd Fiegel, and Symphony Band directed by Rodney Hudson, 4 p.m., Gantner Concert Hall, Fine Arts Center. The price is $4.75 for adults, $4 for senior citizens, children under 18 and with a faculty/ staff ID and $1.50 with a UW-Eau Claire student ID.
