EAU CLAIRE -- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's planetarium program will begin Thursday, Sept. 25.
"A View from Eau Claire: The Night Sky as Seen by Area Astronomers" will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the L.E. Phillips Planetarium. It's a 45-minute presentation that includes an overview of the current sky.
The program is also slated for Oct. 9, 16, 23 and 30; Nov. 13 and 20; and Dec. 11. Those program will also begin at 7:30 p.m. in the L.E. Phillips Planetarium.
A program titled "Children's Night" will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 2, Nov. 6 and Dec. 4 in the planetarium. Young children must be accompanied by an adult.
Both presentations are open to the public.
Tickets are $1 and must be purchased in advance at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727.
