EAU CLAIRE -- The University of Wisconsin Indianhead Arts and Education Center in Shell Lake will offer visual and textile arts clinics during July and August.

The clinics are designed to help participants learn more about specific art areas and to earn college credit if desired. College students, art educators and interested adult community members are eligible to participate.

The following visual and textile arts clinics will be offered during July and August: "Abstract Symbols: Personal Language," July 28-Aug. 1; "Experimental Mixed Media," July 28-Aug. 1; "Graphic Arts," July 28-Aug. 1; "Quiltmaking, Small & Sensational Landscapes," Aug. 4-8; "The Elusive World of Watercolors," Aug. 4-8; and "Watercolors, Color and Design," Aug. 4-8.
