EAU CLAIRE -- University Recreation at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has announced its summer schedule of activities and programs.

Intramural Competition: Registration will run Monday-Friday, June 16-20, for intramural leagues in co-rec softball, four-on-four co-rec volleyball, three-on-three basketball, and tennis. Tennis registration is $1 per person; other intramurals registration is $20 per team, and $10 will be refunded if there are no forfeits. Register at the University Recreation Office in Hilltop Center (715) 836-3377; a Blugold Card is required to participate. Play begins Tuesday, June 24. All games will be played Tuesday afternoons between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Aerobics Program: Classes will be presented Monday through Thursday throughout the eight-week summer session beginning Monday, June 16. Classes run from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m. in the McPhee Center dance studio. Admission is free; a Blugold Card is required.

Hydrorobics Program: Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 7. Classes run from 6:15 to 7 a.m. in the McPhee Center pool. Admission is free; a Blugold Card is required.

Open Swim Program: Tuesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 7, the McPhee Center pool is available for open swim from 6 to 7 a.m. Call Rec-Check, (715) 836-2000, for additional afternoon and evening hours. Admission is free; a Blugold Card is required.

Fitness Program: Summer membership in the Fitness Center, located in Crest Wellness Center, is $12 with a Blugold Card. Call Rec Check, (715) 836-2000, for up-to-date hours of operation.

Massage Therapy Program: UW-Eau Claire students, faculty, staff and their immediate families may make appointments for massage therapy sessions, which cost $15 for 30 minutes, $19 for 45 minutes, $23 for 60 minutes, and $28 for 90 minutes. Call (715) 836-3377 for appointments and more information.

Outdoor Recreation Equipment Rental Program: The Outdoor Recreation Rental Center offers the largest inventory of outdoor equipment in the Eau Claire area. Blugold Card holders may reserve and rent equipment at Hilltop Center on a first-come, first-served basis; call (715) 836-3616 for more information. Summer hours are Monday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
