EAU CLAIRE -- The Arts and Sciences Continuing Education office at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will sponsor enrichment courses for students ages 11 to 18. The classes are part of the Summer Institute held June 9-19 at UW-Eau Claire and June 30 to July 10 at Park View Elementary and Chippewa Falls High School in Chippewa Falls. The courses include beginning and advanced video film making, orienteering, creative writing, electronic computer art, block printing and bookmaking, jazz improvisation, computer aided design, engineering concepts, cinema and history, and strategies for learning. Classes are two weeks long and run Mondays through Thursdays. Classes meet for two hours each day. Tuition for each class is $50 with a $10 material fee in most classes.
