EAU CLAIRE -- Seven University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students were initiated into Psi Chi, the psychology honor society April 24. New members are William Gabler, a senior from Eau Claire; Bridget Gaffney, a senior from White Bear Lake, Minn.; Lisa Hoogheem, a senior from Marshall, Minn.; Susan Huttner, a junior from Bloomington, Minn.; Ann Jackson, a senior from Grafton; Ka Moua, a senior from Eau Claire; and Sarah Riederer, a junior from Racine. During the spring semester, Psi Chi members volunteered for the Girl Scouts at Camp Nawakwa, helping the girls earn their Frosty Fun Badges and teaching them to snow shoe. Also, members presented a program to Girl Scouts about peer pressure, stress, dating and other childhood and teen stresses. -30- JB
