EAU CLAIRE - Students age 12 to 16 will have the opportunity to participate in an intensive study of one area of science at the 18th annual Science Summer Institute scheduled for June 16-27 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The two week camp, sponsored by Arts and Sciences Continuing Education, is specifically designed for students who excel in math or science. Courses offered include biodiversity, chemistry, astronomy, geology, veterinary medicine, physics I and II, action electronics and psychology. Classes are taught by UW-Eau Claire faculty, staff and area high school instructors.

Tuition is $335 with some classes requiring an additional materials fee. Room and board is $350. Students may live on campus or attend the camp as commuter students.
