EAU CLAIRE -- The Outstanding Student Luncheon will be held Wednesday, May 14, at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The luncheon will begin at noon in the Tamarack Room of Davies Center.
Outstanding senior students from each of the university's colleges will be honored during the event. Recipients of the 1997 Outstanding Student Awards are selected by each school or designated operational unit.
Recipients and the office or school they were selected by include Carole Light, a sociology major from Eau Claire, Adult Opportunities Office; Pahoua Yang, a psychology major from St. Paul, American Ethnic Coordinating Office; Ariel Tunon, a computer sciences major from Panama, Center for International Education; Andre Lewis, a computer science and philosophy major from Birchwood, College of Arts and Sciences; Michael Puchalla, a management major from Independence, College of Business; Janet McLaren Miller, an education major from Madison, College of Professional Studies, School of Education; Michael McElwee, a social work major from Wauwatosa, College of Professional Studies, School of Human Sciences and Services; Robyn Smith, a nursing major from Chippewa Falls, College of Professional Studies, School of Nursing; and Julie Martzke, a psychology major from Milwaukee, Graduate Studies.
