EAU CLAIRE -- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, April 28. All events are free and open to the public. TUESDAY, APRIL 29: • Amy Minor, a senior music major from Canton, S.D., will present a student trumpet recital at 5 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of the Fine Arts Center. Minor will perform "Suite in D Major" by G. F. Handel, "The Hollow Men" by Vincent Persichetti, and "Sextet, Opus 30" by Oskar Boehme. She will be accompanied by Cindy Lindeen Martin on piano and the Contrapuntus Brass Quintet. SATURDAY, MAY 3: • The State Music Contest will take place all day in the Fine Arts Center.
