EAU CLAIRE - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Outdoor Recreation office will sponsor two presentations in the Hilltop Lounge of Davies Center April 30 and May 7. Dr. Ronald Satz, dean of the College of Professional Studies, will give a historical and personal account of how Native American spearing and treaty rights have evolved in his presentation titled "Native American Spearing and Treaty Rights." The presentation will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30. Satz is regarded as one of the foremost experts on Native American spearing and treaty rights in the country. The second presentation, "Aborigine Indian Culture and Nature," will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 7. Robert McKeich, one of the five Caucasian men known to be formally initiated into a tribe, will deliver his account of the tribes' link to nature.
